The End Is Near

Grab a cuppa and I will explain.

Well, this Friday is the end of a long time of our family haunting the bone yard in Tucson. We have enjoyed our time here but it’s time to go. We hope to be on the road by mid-April at the latest. So job hunt is going on. We would love to return to England. The search is on now. Princess says she wants turf under her paws!

I have been editing Lily Starr, the book I wrote during NaNo. This novel is a bit different from my usual ghosts. This is about an immortal and not vampires either. I also started another novel, it just needed to come out of these fingers quick. I am also looking for an editor. Bit busy maybe…

I have been reading Doctor Sleep by Stephen King, so far so good. I have always enjoyed his work. I read the last hour of my day before Princess and I tuck in we read. I have been thinking about Valentines and what to do. So maybe the next time I will have a good idea or something fun for us all.

So keep reading and think positive things for me. Let me know what you think.

Cheers!

Out of the Freeze

Grab a cuppa, it's cold outside for most of you. It is sadly not cold here. I do miss seasons.

Well, eleven days in to the new year and so little I wish to do done. Then again I want to get things done quickly. My quiet has been interrupted too much. I like quiet and time to think as I write and plot things out.

So I am not pleased with the ending part of the book I have written so I have an idea how to change it. It will be a good long book. I know that Huntyr will like it.

Princess is well and enjoying our new bed. She keeps going back to it after breakfast. At least my bones feel better not sleeping on rocks.

If you like to see what's up with me daily you can visit my Tumblr account. I post pictures of Princess and things I fancy. I also post on Instagram.

So your books all sound great. I have Doctor Sleep by Stephen King to crack open and start reading today.

So back to writing and thinking. So many ideas, so little time.

Keep reading and any questions for me ask.

Cheers!

New Year New Adventures

Grab a cuppa and relax for a bit.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I had a
lovely quiet one with family. Princess got so many fun
gifts and loved all of them. I was asked what I got, to
me I got great gifts. I received two books, a corgi
calendar, bottle of Hello Kitty wine, homemade cookies
and fun napkins. I was so happy that my friends and family gave me these. I was looked at as if you poor dear. I am not a poor dear. I asked that people give to their local food bank or animal shelter. That is where there is a need. Maybe I am crazy.

Life has been getting in my way the last three weeks. I
am waiting to hear still on the closing of my house.
The estate agent keeps saying I will know something in
a few days. I think that is real estate talk for no
idea just don’t ask me things. I have plans and they
are holding me up.

I had to say goodbye to neighbors of 10 years this past
weekend. I am sad to see them go they are such lovely
people. I know they are going to a great place with
loads of fun ahead for them.

Today I did get to write a bit. My plan this year is to
write at least two hours a day. OK I may not get to each day but I am going to try. The book I wrote during
NANO is still talking to me. I am still working on the
ending the main characters are talking to me. So their
voices need to be written. I am also looking for an
editor to edit this work as well.

I hope all my friends in cold are safe and warm. Cuddle
with your pets and a good creepy story. If you haven’t read Haunted Bedtime Stories or Three That Haunt go get
them.

So go stay warm and tell me what books did you get for
Christmas?

Cheers!
